Need a new wallet- why cant I pick one out
Comments (31)Sheila, I have a Fossil watch that has 18 slots. I just tried to find my wallet on their website but it's not there, which is odd since I just bought it this past spring. I even looked on other websites to see if maybe it was an old style, but I still couldn't find it. Mine has two sections, one is a zippered section that has 6 slots, a zippered section in the middle for coins, and two spaces for dollar bills. then there is a portion that closes with a flap tab. When you open that, there are two sides with six slots each, as well as a long open section behind each that could hold either dollar bills, receipts or whatever. While I don't "need" all the things I keep in this slots, I do prefer to have everything in one wallet. I am out and about all time time, and will often make impromptu, unplanned stops, so having all my gift cards, library cards, credit/debit cards in one spot works best for me. If I'm going somewhere that I really don't want to carry all of that, say to dinner out with dh or if I'm traveling, I have a small change purse that I put in a small purse (if necessary) and just bring my license, a debit/card card and money. It could also hold my cell phone but I have a bulky, sturdy case on my phone so with that on, I can't put it in the wallet. It does fit though if I take the case off. I also bought a separate strap so that I can hold it by the strap (like a wristlet sort of) if I need use of my hands. Ms. Rose, my wallet was about $65. My last Fossil wallet which I absolutely loved but is discontinued, I found at TJ Maxx for $25. I've had cheaper wallets and they were fine, but I have to say that the Fossil is much better quality than the cheaper ones I had. I'm not a purse-aholic, and don't buy new purses often, so don't mind spending for a good quality leather wallet since I use it every day....See MoreI have this "thing" with purses and wallets...
Comments (24)Try looking at Coach and Coach Outlet online. Coach offers free shipping to the Continental United States (free shipping to Canada for orders over $100, otherwise shipping to Canada is $15). Coach Outlet is offering free shipping for a limited time to the Continental United States and Canada. Coach Outlet normally charges (for the Continental US) $5 for orders under $30; $10 for orders $30-$200; and free for orders over $200; and normally it's $15 to Canada. They give accurate measurements for the items, and for handbags they also show them either on a mannequin or on a model, so you can accurately gauge their size. They show photos of the interior of handbags and wallets, too....See MoreQuit Reaching Out!
Comments (203)I also dislike people who begin almost every sentence with "So..." To do it occasionally is okay, but not every sentence. Equally annoying (as mentioned above) is when people interject "right?" frequently into a sentence. It makes them sound like they constantly need approval and are unsure of themselves. It is especially bad when newscasters do this, as it undermines their credibility. I do not like when people ask a question (which they do not allow anyone else to answer) and then answer it themselves, as if they are interviewing themselves and the person they are talking to cannot ask the question. These people have an excessive need (or desire) to control conversations and do not like to listen to others. Another annoyance is when people answer a question with "That's a great question," before they answer the question. Again, it is okay to do it once or maybe twice, but when it becomes habitual, it loses all meaning. It just sounds like they are stalling for time before they give an answer....See MoreWhere do you keep your phone when out for a walk?
Comments (44)I take long walks with my dogs so like to listen to audiobooks, making it necessary to have my phone with me. I generally wear exercise leggings or exercise skorts that have the side pocket on the leg so I can my phone in that. For casual walks, most of my non-exercise shorts have at least a back pocket that can hold my phone. I did buy an armband at one point but it is too much of a hassle trying to use it so now I just make sure my exercise gear have the side pocket. Years ago, I bought a SpiBelt that I wore when running in races - it was lightweight and held a lot (phone, money, energy chews, keys, etc). I still have it but my current phone is too big for it, but I suppose the newer ones would fit newer, larger phones....See Morefraker
