It's a good deal. Hulu with ads, which this will be as well, is normally $7.99 per month. Without the ads it's $14.99.

Thanks. I can never rationalize subscribing to more than one service ( Netflix) because i only watch occasionally. However people often recommend shows on Hulu, HBO, etc and i’d like to see them. I can definitely allow myself to spend $24 for a year.

Thanks, I'm going to go for it. Like dedtired, I already subscribe to Netflix and pay cable, but so often shows that are recommended to me seem to be on Hulu.

We first got it a few years ago on Black Friday for .99 to watch Handmaid's Tale. The latest season just ended so we'll probably discontinue it and subscribe next Black Friday to watch the last season of HMT. We didn't watch much on it, mainly FX series like Justified and The Americans, but they've been out for years. The only new series we've watched recently is The Patient with Steve Carell.

Thanks ratherbesewing! I was going to subscribe for a month as soon as dh finishes the 4th season of Handmaid's Tale. He's been borrowing the DVDs from the library. I think the monthly Hulu rate is $7.99, so this is a great deal even if I only keep the subscription for a few months.
