A tiny bit is ALL you should be concerned. Less than 1% of all granite will give the readings they're talking about. Do a search in here on the word "Radon", and you should come up with almost 30 different threads. Some are nothing more than back and forth accusations between an alarmist and a few industry pros (myself included), but if you check some of the smaller threads, you'll find some good information.

@bhushank Nicely done! Thanks for posting these! I still like some wood, even though white cabinets are clean. But was afraid that w/ the Ethreal glow‘s white background & white cabinets, it would be too steril for me. I have considered the two toned wood & white cabinets & i like the way you added a little color on your backsplash to help it not be so white. i was thinking about going up the backsplash w/ the quartz. I have the challege of having a peninsula instead if an island & a cedar cathederal ceiling in the next room. I like the tones of your cabinets & flooring that you used as well. I keep looking at ideas & I hope one day soon I can make a decision! Thanks again!

heres the blue gray in a finished kitchen. probably any light counter will be fine. Personally I'd pick a different backsplash as the same material for the splash would be too formal in a cottage..if this were my space. obviously the overall cost is not a problem for you : painted cabs/ cambria counters etc.....consider a couple glass doored fronts....and a different splash is my commentary....keep the cottage-y in your cottage. good luck.

I see no pic of the materila or the colors you are asking about and IMO wanting help with colors on the internet is never a good idea since every monitor shows colors differently. I really dislike fake plastic stone so not familiar with that perticular one as to color. Keep in mind man made so the next slab could be very different so pick the actual slab going into your space do not order from a tiny sample .
