What color grout?

I'm tiling the floor of my master bath with a brown/grey 12 x 24 porcelain tile. The room is fairly small- approx. 9' x 9'. I can't decide what color to use for my grout. I can see both colors in the tile. The dark one matches the closest, but would it look like a dark, dirty floor? The light will show the lines of course. I'd appreciate any input. I'm attaching photos of each grout sample with a piece of the tile.

I would choose the darker one as the lighter one is going to end up looking like the darker one eventually unless you like scrubbing grout. :-) Unless there is an interesting pattern in how the tile is laid there is nothing to be gained by using a contrasting grout.

The darker one. Grout always dries just a bit lighter than those sample sticks.

I am doing a 2 x 3 inset in my shower stall. It's MIR mosaic, leaf carrara. Trying to decide between "white" and " avalanche" for the grout. The surrounding field tile will be 24x36 Gazzini luxu grey natural ,polished, with Frost grout. I want the field tiles to blend in and the mosaic to pop. Suggestions?

If you want to see the pattern better...match the cabinet color or pick a complementary color out of the quartz tops...but keep it light. Otherwise a dark grout won't showcase your picket pattern.

Darker. We chose ours to match the tile… once dry… it was lighter. We had to seal the grout to get the color right.

The shower walls are a porcelain, marble "look", warm white background with grey & brown veining through it. The floor tile is installed now and the 1/16" cracks look black before grouting. I'm surprised to kinda like the look. Maybe black is the way to go? Photos below of the floor without grout, the wall tile, the shower floor, and the mosaics for the niches and backsplash above the vanity. Still need to decide light or dark grout for the shower floor and also for the mosaics. Sorry for all the questions. Your answers are super helpful! Thank you all!

The grouting is not done, but is on this week's schedule (my tile guy got sick, holidays were busy, I traveled, etc.). No one has commented on my last post, so I'm asking again. I think maybe a black grout for the floor tile as I like the look right now, (see the pic above showing the tile with no grout yet, but spacing looks black.) Does this make sense?

Second question - The last pic is the tile for my Tub & Shower niches as well as the backsplash above the vanity. Would the light grout be best (it matches the grout for the shower walls and walls surrounding the tub.) Or should I highlight the bronzy edges of the tiles with a similar, bronzy color?

Third question (I can't tell you how helpful it is to hear from others!) - I initially thought I'd take the backsplash tile all the way to the ceiling, but I now think it will be too much. The tiles are small and the shape and varying colors are busy. Since my bathroom is small (81 sq. ft.) I wonder if I'd be better with a 12"-18" backsplash, and light painted wall from there to the ceiling.
