Thanks to both of you for your responses and compliments. i am thinking the bamboo would look great, but here is the kicker.. Since it is part of my great room there is also a slider (behind the sectional where you see part of our temp. chandy hanging) and then a triple window over my sink. The kitchen colors are absolute black granite on the perimeter cabinets with a cherry stained alder wood and the island is distressed black painted alder with typhoon bordeaux granite (has black, brown, cream, wine, and some terracota in it). Would you still stick with the bamboo in the medium tone?

Idk if texture would be welcome at the windows, but these have 5 colors, and high ratings. I'd look for a creamy white, not stark white.

I do not see photos. It sometimes tricky to get them to load!
