Comments (3)They can get worse if you don't do something. I think horticultural oil will smother. Neem oil can also be used. Look for and control ants, as they protect and encourage the scale so they can harvest the honeydew. If they are all on one cane, I just cut off the infected part and put it in the trash. Comments (2)I cannot be sure just what they are. If they are causing damage to the plants you may need to control them and since yellow sticky traps will attract and capture Whitefly those same traps may do that with these. Maybe an Insecticidal Soap spray will be needed. Some people even report good control of pests in the greenhouse with a handheld vacuum....See MoreWeird creature have taken residence in my bin
