Thank you, Annie!

We’ve been out hiking, camping and fishing most of the week. The full moon last night was gorgeous and we are enjoying days of plus 20 C. with nights dropping to near 0 C.

I’m cooking a turkey for next weekend. I ate a bag of KFC flavoured Ruffles for this weekend to celebrate.

On one of our hikes this week I spotted these two down in a canyon!

I’m thankful for our gorgeous country.

Thank you, Annie! Your wonderful contributions to the KT are one thing I am thankful for. We went out for a delicious buffet dinner yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving. No cooking and no clean-up!

Thank you, carol and fun2Bhere. The weather has been glorious this weekend. We had a kubie roast and went for a long bike ride yesterday. It was a beautiful day. Just right. 🙂 I’m making a big dinner the weekend after next when family will be here.

Thank you Annie!! Finding the KT 15 years ago is definitely something I'm grateful for!

I made a turkey yesterday with dressing, potatoes and a half acorn squash roasted. It's cool (6C) but sunny so I'm going to wash my car in a bit. Enjoy your day, fellow Canadians.

When I was working, I dealt a lot with our Canadian office so I was very aware of holidays. Now that I'm retired, I honestly didn't remember ( I didn't even realize today was a holiday of sorts here). I actually had emailed someone I worked with (she 's Canadian) with whom I keep in touch just to catch up. She wrote back and only THEN did I realize what yesterday was.

Oops.
