Getting ready to sell our condo
Comments (64)cpartist - I think it looks good overall. Some of the rugs looks a little wimpy etc. but doubt that will keep you from selling, same as some of the accessories being too many in some spots. Overall impression is very positive to me. Most of that stuff is just nit picks for lack of other things to pick on I think. If you do decide to balance the artwork you might want to look at command hooks. No need to make any holes. I think with wider angle pictures that shows the rooms it will be just fine. Only thing I would do is leave just the larger accessories and remove any groupings of smaller things - less to pack later anyways and it looks less busy in those spots, for those that like less "fuss"....See MoreAny designers/home decorators out there?
Comments (22)Don't worry about getting color in your kitchen. When a kitchen is very much a part of the living area in a house, it should take a back seat and stay neutral. Let your color shine in the LR part. Look at the coral pillows in the LR of the model house. You can also always add color with a great oriental in the DR. I disagree. I really don't understand this continuing fear of color in homes. BTW: My living room is open to my kitchen. Here's another view of the kitchen from the front hall. Excuse the boxes. This was taken just after we moved in....See MoreThermador or Dacor refrigerator?
Comments (11)Which brand of 36" panel ready, french door refrigerator you would buy? Thermador, Jenn-Air, Miele, Bosch, KitchenAid or SubZero? SubZero seems to be the most expensive and the most back ordered. It is hard to find reveiws. Amazon has a lot of positive reviews of the Bosch but does not sell other brands. I see a couple of people on this site agreeing with your opinion of Decor but ApplanceConnection.com has a lot of positive reviews of their refrigerators. Thanks! I so appreciate advise....See MoreSo - who of you are in Florida?
Comments (98)“It’s so sad to see all the lower income seniors that have lost everything. It’s not like they have time or means to recoup. It’s just so sad. There are so many and I wonder what is to become of them.” Remember 2004 when we (Florida) were slammed - Charley, Francis, Ivan and Jeanne? FEMA sent a bunch of small trailers to house those displaced. I hope that is an option now for some. I’ve seen where a few air b&bs are donating stays, some long some shorter. I’m still without electricty, the news we see is lacking in information. I did see coverage that included video of a mobile home park. the homes look to be in pretty good shape. The tie downs did their job keeping them put. One would never guess that during the surge the homes had 8’ of water in them. Some of those poor souls had not evacuated, Its all so sad....See Morebpath
