Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

Looking for suggestions to update home exterior

Hello all! I would love to hear some suggestions that you all may have as to what color to paint our exterior.
We are planning to keep the brick as is, therefore I am having the hardest time deciding what color and siding trim will go well with it.
Per our HOA, the trim and siding need to be different colors, otherwise we would have likely painted it all (siding and trim) Alabaster with plans to add in cedar accents. Unfortunately our design application was denied due to the trim vs siding color contrast issues.
All thoughts/ideas/suggestions are welcome. TIA!

BM Nantucket Gray is a nice exterior color. Looks much brighter and "green" outside than the paint chip would suggest.

Sidelights matching the door, functional shutters with shutter dogs, beefy posts (consider round columns to soften and repeat the curves on the window installations.) How about a new surface for the porch? It looks rather utilitarian and cold (like the builder ran out of steam) and you seem to have clearance at the door to add wood. Hi -- the house has a nice, traditional look. I wouldn't change the windows, unless they are failing (I actually like the grids). I would change the front door to a fiberglass, wood look door and remove the shutters. Would they consider changing the color of the house? Not knowing the siding material, a nice updated paint color would look great!

The colors you chose look nice and would work well. For more impact, I would remove the shutters entirely and update the landscaping. I think that the landscaping needs an update. Post your dilemma in the landscape subforum for ideas. JMO.

I think I like the lighter color you're using @celerygirl. I'm pretty sure that that's what I've decided on. I', also going to add the address like you did as well. Great idea!! But I think I'll likely go with a solid color awning once I figure out what color. I'm generally not the biggest fan of stripes. And I like what both you and @Yardvaark did with the space right in fron tof the house so I'll be doing something along the lines of what you two have done there. Thanks again for your help! I like the color it is. Seems to go well on that house. Is there a reason, you cant use the same or very similar color?

The sage green from Sabrina would be so nice with the brick.

I like the green too, but I struggle with the trim color. I’d like to steer clear of white

DO NOT PAINT THE HOUSE IF THAT IS STAIN ON YOUR SIDING!! Continue to use stain so you can minimize maintenance.

Try 2 shades of white.

Mollie, note in the second photo the trim is painted the same color as the siding. You don't have to do a contrast color.
