Why are bean seed colors opposite sometimes?

I'm not a bean growing expert, but have enjoyed planting and eating fresh bush beans a few years. When saving seeds for next year crop, sometimes I come across beans with reversed seed colors, like in this picture. I have always tossed these seeds off as bad, but I'm really curious as to that they will grow, so I'm planning to plant them next year.

My question is, why does the inverted color happen, and will these grow a different bean plant? These are Dragon Tounge bean seeds. The usual color is a tan color bean with dark brown speckles, but one bean pod had inverted colors, dark brown bean with tan speckles.
