LOL, Jasdip. One of our daily newspapers started running Between Friends to replace For Better or For Worse. Lots of angst about replacing our beloved For Better, but I just love Between Friends. I have been especially looking forward to the daily strip for the continuing story line.

Wildchild - our Stop and Shop chain has a creepy robot that's taller than me and it always scares me when it crosses my path. It's silent. It looks a lot like the Tin Man from the Wizard of OZ but has blue eyes. I honestly don't know it's function....except to get people to leave the store faster...

Thanks for the smiles and laughs as usual! For Jasdip's I have that many eggs most of the time. That is our breakfast go to plus use as a low cal snack. Also I spot the kitty in the fridge that definitely doesn't belong in there. :-)

Rock legend Bruce Springsteen looked unrecognisable as he posed with a fan in a new snap circulating on social media on Friday.

The musician, 72, looked worlds away from his glamorous stage days in the image, with many saying he was a dead ringer for film director Woody Allen, 86.

The picture taken with a fan in Brussels showed Bruce wearing a grey jumper and a pair of black glasses.

Yup it is Bruce, but I actually at first quick glance, thought it was (a younger) Larry King.

Ha ha, i think it's just the angle of the picture. Bruce is no longer young but he looks a lot better than Woody ever did.

Jasdip, my two nephews (6 and 4 at the time) did the same to me one day when I was watching them. We went to the store, they picked out pork chops and vegetables, we went home, prepared dinner, and as we sat at the table the older one looked at me and said, "I hope you know, we don't eat vegetables." Younger one, " Yeah and we don't eat that stuff either!" - pushing the pork chop away with his fork.

I didn't find it amusing at the time.

So, I said, fine, don't eat. DD and I finished our dinner while they just sat there.

SIL was very not happy with me because they were SO HUNGRY when she picked them up - "why didn't I feed them?"

I don't recall ever not eating what was put on my plate, much less pushing it away. But I do remember that I liked 'white' porridge and my brother liked 'brown' porridge.
