Comments (7)Nice large window and hardwood floors! Here's a few things to think about: 1 Turn the rug so the long side is facing the sofas. Then bring the sofas in closer off the walls and have the front leg sit on the rug. 2 A coffee table 3. Bring the two teal chairs closer to the sofas to create a conversation area and not block the lovely fireplace. 4. Remove the mirrors (They are hung too high) and get one large piece of art 5. Try longer curtains that just touch the floor, maybe in teal . Two panels per side. 6 Does the chair that is suspended from the ceiling have to stay?...See Morefamily room decor help!!
Comments (4)Hello. Feels like a lot of gray! I wound consider keeping the coffee table and replacing the area rug for one that is a pattern that includes gray. On the coffee table you can lighten it up with a few books and and orchid for a pop of color. The navy chairs are lovely, but blocking your fireplace. Consider moving them to face each other so the fireplace is in full view. Good luck!...See Morepillows to tie into family room decor

I’d recommend a sofa with narrow arms so you can comfortably sit 2 people, a single or double seat cushion and a not too deep seat. Then place a narrow sofa table at the back of the sofa. The sofa faces the built in. Have 2 swivel chairs opposite the sofa with a small profile table in between the chairs. A slim coffee table in front of the sofa. And good lighting!...See MoreAngie LaRosa
