I can do without these commercials during family movie night or the Sox game, particularly the carrot one.

Reminds me of what a longtime friend told me about going out with a horrible guy when she was in her early 20s. She got into his car to head out for the date, and the first thing he said to her was, "Cross your legs, girl. Your [insert rude word here] stinks."

I guess women are supposed to feel like they need this stuff in order for their bodies not to cause offense? Goodness!

As a gynecologist, I'm sure she's been exposed to any number of unpleasant body odors - imagine being a proctologist!

Fortunately, I don't have any pressing need for that, but I know many people deal with unpleasant body odors - esp. feet.

Oldest marketing ploy on the books - make someone feel bad about themselves to get them to buy something. I don't think that's her approach, tho.

Since I've gone through menopause I stink more, basically everywhere. Just another one of Mother Nature's little gifts I guess. I read it has something to do with hormones. So if I'm working hard and sweating, I can smell my own BO whereas in my younger days I would run for over an hour outside or be playing tennis outside on a blazing hot court and I'd be literally soaking wet when I was done - and yet not really stink.

I saw the ads and can't decide if it's funny and irreverent - or if it crosses a line. I'm not offended, but I also agree with mtn.

I have no plans to try it though. I just plan my stinky activities appropriately and take a shower when I'm done. :)

Never heard of Lume. Did it really play on MSM? I thought it was a joke. Of course, I am probably so far behind on commercials now, I record most everything and NEVER watch the commercials-for years now!

I did not want to watch the commercial, the comments have been sufficient. Misogyny is an ugly thing, especially when turned on yourself.

I do agree that it would be a bit much for regular TV. 😂 Heck, I gross out watching the commercials with the cartoon bears who have itchy butts bc they don’t use the proper toilet paper, and the one where the woman is shaving her bikini line and you can see the actual hair. 🤢🤮

I bought it, don;t use it as much as i probably should. You don't actually insert it anywhere, so it doesn;t cause me any issues. Application instructions are one the website if you're curious. :)

It's not just for women for those of you who don;t want to watch the video. You can use it under your breasts, armpits, feet, anywhere you sweat. All genders :). Not cheap though.

FWIW, we don't have cable, so streaming, not watching live TV, and there are plenty of commercials. You can see ads virtually anywhere these days, not just on TV. Streaming platforms run commercials that most live channels on TV would not.

I got into the bad habit of going braless at home. No matter how loose a bra I buy, I feel it and feel restricted, so I let the girls hang free. If someone came over I'd run to my brassiere drawer.

As I got older I started sweating a lot, especially in the summer and the girls got a bad fungal infection in the under boob area from friction and sweating. It's basically athlete's feet and the same OTC cream knocks it out. But I got it again then googled how to stop it other than wearing constraints.

I came across this item and I swear it works. I keep the name of the bottle turned around in case I die and someone may think I have an itchy butt. :)

Ladies, do you have an itchy butt? It's a barrier powder which is completely safe, that you put on clean skin, for me it's my under boobs, and it does what the bottle says. Just look at the ratings.

I know fungal infections are a topic we don't talk about because we feel ashamed. Once the red spot appears, the whole under area turns red and itchy and burns like heck. And yes, it will stink like there's no tomorrow if you get it.

The key is to keep all folded areas dry even if you don't have an itchy butt powder.

They have products for men too.

Mtn, did I ever tell you all the story about what happened last Thanksgiving with DGS and I? I'll tell it again because it's a hilarious memory for the both of us. Thank goodness he has mine & his father's sense of humor.

Before dinner, 13 yo grandson and I were alone in the LR watching football. Mid day. The commercial for erectile dysfunction came on . Now remember, the kid is in the puberty stage and learning all about those mysterious things.

The commercial was long, I was squirming. We both were silent. I didn't know what to say. I was silently freaking out and wanting to run away.

Then...I gave him the side eye and saw he was giving me the side eye at the same time. We both exploded in laughter. I commented they really shouldn't show these commercials when kids are still awake. More laughter. The commercial kept going and when it ended I said, "especially when grandma is sitting next to her 13 year old grandson."

We both almost landed on the floor in laughter.

I actually had to look up Old people smell. It begins around 40 so start smelling yourself. 👵👨‍🦳

I've seen these ads on TV, though they are shorter and a little less explicit, but not much. One of them was showing women in various yoga poses. I actually think, if it works, that the product is a good idea...anything that makes us more pleasant to live with without doing us bodily harm is probably a good thing.

What gets me are all these J&J lawsuits about baby powder and cancer. Did women really put powder on their lady bits? I never did. There are certain areas that are supposed to be moist, not dry.
