Kitchens Design Dilemma Cacti & Succulents

KITCHEN HARDWARE

I want to go with longer t bar handles for my kitchen cabinets bc doors are long enough ....but what about the smaller ones above stove & fridge & under the sink ?? Idk if shorter ones would ruin thr flow ? or look out of place ! Any advice love to hear !!

You vary the size of the pull with the size of the door or drawer. That is why the manufacturers make different sizes of pulls. If you didn't have different sizes, you'd have small pulls look puny on larger doors/drawers, and large pulls look too big on smaller doors/drawers.

For drawers, the rough rule of thumb is 1/3 the width of the drawer. For doors, it is best to make aluminum foil templates of the pull sizes you are considering, and hold them up to the doors, before you spend a bunch of money on the actual pulls.

I used 3 different size pulls in my kitchen (6 yrs. ago) and I'm very happy with how it looks.

We are in the middle of a new home build. We chose chrome for faucets and now find out that door hardware only available in brushed nickel. What metal do you suggest for our kitchen hardware? We have white cabinets, gray backsplash and dark gray island and white lightly veined gray quartz countertops. We were thinking Chrome at first. Thanks

I strongly recommend looking into a hands-free opening system like one of the following - much more convenient when you have your hands full of dirty trash and you prefer to not touch the cabinet pull at all, and of course - much slower wear and tear: https://thecraftsupply.com/product/kick-and-go-foot-pedal-for-automatic-hands-free-opening-system/ https://www.trashmagic.net/ We've had the second one installed in our previous house and couldn't be happier: If you don't want to (or can't) consider a hands-free system: May sound funny, but I would choose a pull that is large enough for me to stick the edge of my foot into... when my hands are full of dirty trash, I often opt for opening the trash drawer with my foot - so definitely not a tiny knob or a too-short pull or anything like that.

@M Miller The hardware I have im not too crazy about but I don't have the time or luxury of ordering different styles online right now so my question is if I really hate them can I switch them out just as long as it's the same size they are drilling correct?
