Table style? for these chairs

Inheirited these chrome 1970-80 cantilevered chairs. Table is with it but small and glass. would like to use these in a small ski condo where dining and living room go into each other. what style of table would look good. Living room is homey chic.

Don't know what size you need, but I'd get a simple, modern black table to go with this. Possibly a Parsons style. Similar to this but without the slats:

I have a 54" round table that I love. We use it with 4 matching chairs - so I can't really answer your question. BUT I can tell you that finding tablecloths for this size is difficult. 70" is too big and 90" is too small. If you love tablecloths, be forewarned. :) But 54" is a great size in all other respects!

beautiful table. So much about choosing or suggesting chairs depends on your style, lifestyle and the decor in the rest of the room/house. these look like they could be something you'd like...from Restoration Hardware the Martine chairI like the style of both of these, but they may not fit your vision: I think these are vintage, but so beautiful with the curves and the table. Probably not with velvet host chairs and certainly not this rustic/rough, but I like the shape:

Hello Houzz! I have been wanting traditional rocking chairs for my porch for sometime. I was going to get white and maybe pop it with a colour in a little table. I am a bit colour adverse so any comments would reassure me. Also not certain this table style goes with the chair style. Looking for any comments. I was going to do white chairs but would a wood look better? Attached are the pics of what I am looking at and my porch. Excuse the ikea coloured bins there now.

Does the glass table have a base? You could add a wood top to it.

If not, how about this one from World Market?

How about something like this, the Aria table from Room and Board, available in various base and top finishes and table top diameters? I picked the butcher block top to make it a little more casual, but there are lots of options.

We have a wooden harvest table now. Wondering if that would still work. it is about 5 feet by 3 1/2. Dining area not huge .8 x10. i guess by homey chic i mean rustic . Sofa,armchair, small tub chair. Fireplace surround is stacked stone. The table legs of the glass top table are huge tubular chrome which is really not my style.

Well these are all great suggestions. Guess i will haul one of the chairs up there and maybe mock some styles up out of cardboard. Then need to figure out overhead table lighting! suggestions welcome.

I’d look for a well worn rustic table and consider updating the chairs to sort of resemble this look.

Agreed but not close to our actual house. i am planning on reupholstering cushions. Will take some photos on august 1 and update my question to you all. Different ideas and all to be thought about. Great feedback!
