looking for recommendations on paint color for kitchen walls

I am having trouble figuring out a paint color for a kitchen renovation.

Cabinets are Maple - Cotton w/ Toasted Almond Glaze and counters are new Venetian gold. Backsplash is an off white subway tile. I included a pic of what we are working with to give a better idea. Any help would be great !

Where and how high is your backsplash/how much of your walls are going to be painted?

Backslash will be from counter to cabinet and half way up where hood is. Wall to the left will have a slider and another window then back wall on opposite side has entryway to living room. So left and back wall will have most wall space .

I'm not sure about the backsplash yet. It will be tiled. But I dont have something specific picked out yet. It wont be bright and flashy though. I am now torn between a creamy color like BM Windham Cream. Or this morning I saw a maple kitchen with Restoration Hardware's Sycamore Green. The woman at BM thought that Windham Cream was too much like natural maple. WDYT?

@likewhatyoudo are you suggesting a color for the wall that closely matches my cabinets? my trim color is SW alabaster and I did try getting a color matched that would work in my kitchen and the home and the color suggested was SW ivory lace which was an off white shade I would say white with a hint of yellow, but personally I wanted something a bit more clean and modern while this kitchen is giving me the traditional vibes. My kitchen opens up to the living room and the breakfast room, it’s quite an open floor plan. I guess I want to do something that makes the kitchen brighter and a bit more modern than traditional .

If this were my space i'd spend to fix the microwave situation. the walls are the problem as they have a yellow undertone. I dont see the problem w cabs and counter at all. Paint the walls the aesthetic white shown above. or a neutral bone or ivory or a white w more green undertone. stay away from yellow anything due to the true tan/brown of counter/floor.....Then I'd probably swap the glass in the vertical cabs for a smokey/frosted glass. I dont find the clear glass in that situation a plus at all. I dont see any yellow issue w cabinets from these pics........lighting assessment and a neutral wall color will address what you think is a yellow cast to cabs.....but probably is not. Money saved. Fix the corner w microwave.

Looking for recommendations on BM white paint color for trim!

Hello! Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the white paint options out there and was hoping someone with some color expertise can help me narrow it down. This is for my master bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom walls are painted BM Palladian Blue and the bathroom walls are painted BM Stratton Blue. The walk-in closet within the bedroom is painted BM Brandy Cream. The cabinets in the bathroom are a very close match to BM Woodmont Cream. What BM white paint color would be ideal for painting trim and doors in this space? I guess I'm looking for a white that would coordinate well with this palette: Palladian Blue Stratton Blue Brandy Cream Woodmont Cream Thanks!

I like all three of the middle samples. The deciding factor for me would be the window treatment I had in mind, and how the kitchen decor relates to the adjoining room.

On a side note, I just saw this photo on Latest Stories, and I was really impressed with the functionality of the storage and charging station for laptops. I thought you might want to consider the idea for your island.

If im looking at this correctly on your cabinet walls there will be very little paint. do you want those small portions to pop? go with a darker color. or blend in with the splash? go lighter. the nice thing about those small sections are they are easy to repaint and change it up. As for the larger walls i also think the three middle colors are nice. And consider lighting temp and natural light. that has a big change on what it will look like IRL. and in the end - it’s just paint. it can always be changed.
