I got the glass through a local shop. My situation was different, as only one wall, the "front" door wall, was glass. The other three walls were kerdi and tile. The sloped glass ceiling was captured in the walls on three sides and clear silicon was used to seal the remaining side to the front wall of glass. I'm not sure what type of specific seal was used on the door. It might have been clear vinyl. If you do a search or ask at the glass shops, it might also help if you refer to it as a "raked" (sloped) front wall of glass. Actually, lemme see if I can get a quick google hit... Found one at Wilson Glass. Not exactly what you're looking for though. Using something like that with a sealed transom overhead would work and be the lest expensive. Having the front wall as a single piece of glass with the door cutout of it would be $$$$$.

Besides adding the new master bath, we're also gutting the main part of the house (kitchen, family room, living room, and dining room.) The walls around the kitchen won't be put back, and the wall between the the family room and living room will be moved a few feet and contain a double-sided gas fireplace. So....no vaulted ceilings anywhere else in the house after the remodel. I was hoping to have a chandelier over the tub. That might help feel like the ceiling height is brought down some. I have a feeling that the GC has already ordered the scissor trusses for the vault, so it might be too late to change. I couldn't reach him late today. On the other hand, maybe it will make the bathroom feel special if it's the only vaulted room in the house! Maybe??

Here is a rough drawing of the roomsince the plumbing worked best going the length of the shower, and by code an exterior wall would lose at least six inches inside the shower they added a wall to the left of the doorway to house the shower fixtures. In my mind orginally that wall was going to be glass and the room ceilings would be a few feet higher than my glass enclousure. Once we decided to place plumbing five feet from the exterior and add a wall it made sense to lower the shower ceilings to a slope with the highest point at nine feet. The wall juts in the middle of the 13 foot long entrance wall.The shower shower ceiling is three feet lower than room's highest point but you can not tell. I am sure I am not explaining it right. We basically built an alcove shower instead of an open two sided glass one.

how tall should my mirrors be Over the sinks in a master bath with a high, sloped ceiling? Approx. 9.5 ft ceiling over left end of vanity, approx 12 ft ceiling over right end of vanity. Not doing one big mirror bc we will have a vanity tower on top of counter, that reaches 8 ft tall. I’d like to take the mirrors up pretty tall, but will need room for lighting & don’t want to have the mirrors be different heights. Thanks for your thoughts!
