Funeral ironies

I want to share here since I'm "faceless". Two of the ironies, for GRINS

I took clothes for the burial. I couldn't NOT bring underwear because she was so glamorous!!!, but spent the last few years in "diapers". It was my way to bring her back to her level; what she would've wanted. Conversely, I couldn't bring a bra. I couldn't imagine spending the afterlife in the worst, most uncomfortable garment ever made 😆

I'm so happy and feel loved. People keep bringing food. NONE of it goes together. Lasagne, potato salad, fried chicken... I truly truly appreciate the kindness but I just cannot l stop giggling. What a weird conglomeration! But I suppose that was my mom's life. The cross section of many walks of life.

Such a tribute to who she was, and I really do appreciate all the love. I just found my attitude irreverent, and this is the only place I could share it.

Hope it makes you guys giggle as much as it made me giggle.
