Comments (21)I'm glad we seem to have survived the transition, too! I think we're lucky as a group that Tamara made the transition with us from GardenWeb to Houzz. I suspect that things would not have gone as well without her working so hard (often behind the scenes) to get us all squared away here. She was so kind and patient with me, even when I was frankly freaking out that some of the wonderful photos in past reveal threads might be lost to us. I've been in and out of this forum lately, but to me this place is like the ball finial on the newel post at the bottom of the stairs. Even if you have to dash by in a hurry, it's nice just to pause for a second, pat the finial, and know that it's there. Home! Thank you a2gemini for the nice thread....See MoreLet the Great Pull Quest Begin.....
Comments (3)The Top Knobs Princetonian pulls. They have a very good projection to allow larger fingers. They come in quite a number of sizes (the pull should be approx 1/3 the drawer size, and you should use different pull sizes for different drawer sizes). They don't have the annoying tips at each end like the ones in your last photo which can catch on pockets and belt loops. https://www.build.com/search?page=search%3Abrowse&term=princetonian+pulls...See MoreHouzz changes, and what to do about it
Comments (44)The technology age may be a factor, Mary. I can't access places on Houzz from our older desktop. I certainly can't upload photos from it. Our computer is about the same age as yours. It was a cutting edge Mac at the time. Ha, ha. My husband ran Logic software and recorded music with it. Now it sits around and roars like a T rex, but my husband can still do music production, send emails, etc. There is a Houzz phone number you can call, too. I posted in on "[How to Contact Houzz Support Directly[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/how-to-contact-houzz-support-directly-dsvw-vd~5356515?n=8)." Our desktop runs on Snow Leopard. I think that one is too ancient for Houzz. Carol...See MoreLet's Begin Again...Rose Seasonal Thread
Comments (1127)Hi, Jim, Wonderful you joined us! @Diane Brakefield Sorry I missed your comments above. I’ve been a little tired & skim reading some posts. I love looking at everyones posts daily, but wiped out now. However, I just caught your post about the Huntington Gardens. It’s been many years but I used to live in LA & visited them & the Japanese Gardens, often! I remember them well! They have the largest Kwanzan trees ever-that’s what inspired me to have a Kwanzan in my gardens. Interested who the curator of the garden’s is now!!! We just love his taste in roses!!! Wishing everyone a more Healthy Holiday Season!...See Morededtired
