Not Romeo or Lindsey but would be glad for any of the rest. Jonathon is my fav though.

I saw a video (on Instagram, I think) where Jeff said that the winner will be announced while they're still on the island. Of course, that doesn't say how far into the show that announcement will be made...

"IF" Maryann wins, she'd be young enough to ...maybe buy her first house.

I am a bit shocked…

She won it at tribal. I had a feeling she could sway the jury, she is quick thinking and very good with words. Jeff really liked this group of people, and they really did seem to be nice humans. I liked what Mike said when he said that he felt like he won just by playing and proving he could do it. I knew Romeo wouldn't win, but he gained so much by being true to himself and being honest. I hope his family accepts him for who he is.

Johnathan was a MACHINE (and so was Lindsay). Interesting that the 3 people left weren’t particularly good at challenges…except at the very end. I wanted someone to vote for Romeo - he was definitely a ”Survivor”. I think he had a great point - he was always on the bottom, so I imagine it’s pretty difficult to be a big ”player”

Not the outcome I’d hoped for.but congrats to Mary Ann. I think she rode other coattails and got lucky in the end. Of the three remaining, i think Mike should have won. I did enjoy watching!

I think that Maryanne won at tribal while Mike lost it. She swayed the jury. Good for her! I had written her off as a coat-tail rider, but she rose to the occasion.

Even though she was incredibly annoying to me at first, she did get better as time went on. She toned down the silly giggly behavior. I still wish Mike had won.

If Jonathon hadn't lost the ball-catching challenge he might have won. He deserved it.

I'm not so sure, lily. I was sensing that the others didn't like him too much. There were comments about him being arrogant and treating the women badly. I thought Mike's loyalty to him might be one of the reasons that he only got one vote. I was sure he'd sweep it.

I got the same impression of Johnathan in the sense that there had been comments about the way he interacted with women. I would say that I think the Survivor producers (or whoever decides what shots are going to make it to the final cut) could do a better job of giving the audience a little bit more in terms of their interactions with each other …just day to day stuff. I feel we are being led too much by the editing. Why oh why can’t it be a TWO hour episode every week ? 🤗🤗🤗

i guess, for me, having just seen the preview again of the last episode because it was on the PVR, had Jonathan and /or Lindsay been in the final three, do you think Maryann would still win?

If Lindsay was in the final three, I think she would've--and should've--won.

I think there was something about Jonathan that the others didn't like. Maybe his brand of Christianity is one where the man is the head of the household and that came off in his interactions with the women. I haven't done any outside reading so I don't know if he's evangelical or Southern Baptist or something else.

I remember in the first or second episode when Omar was setting up his prayer rug and he offered to answer any questions they may have about Islam and Jonathan immediately chimed in with "And I'll answer your questions about Christianity." I thought that was dismissive of Omar and a bit arrogant. Omar only offered because his religion isn't as well known as Christianity. He wasn't trying to convert anyone.

i so agree that Maryanne swayed them in the end....

she had no game till 3/4's of the way through.. those were not the three i would have predicted to make it to the end.

Let's get back to two finalists, always one of the three never get any votes!

i was all in for Jonathan & Lindsey, based on performance and other ways they played the game.

i really liked Drea, wished she lasted longer.

Omar did himself in, you can't play all sides!! Love that Drea ratted him out. if he would have played a little different, he could have made it to the end.

all in all another great season! can't wait til the Fall!!

Johnathon might have been off-putting about religion but he smeared people with his strength and ability in challenges and he fished and helped in that way. So the dilemma, do you vote for the outstanding athletes ...Lindsey and Jon, or vote for likables like Mike who won one challenge. Certainly not someone who drifted along like Romero. But I was okay with MaryAnn winning because despite her silliness but that was a front for her strategicness.
