Algae, patio pavers and missing grout! Oh my.

kbear_15
last year

I have a RichCliff Unilock paver patio with "grout" in between. Patio faces north in NE Ohio. Every spring, I have been spraying Wet & Forget Outdoor Moss, Mold, Mildew & Algae stain remover to try and remove green algae from the grout. However, after I spray/let it sit a few days, when I pull the "algae weeds" out, it pulls the grout out and I'm left with gaping holes.

Is there something I'm doing wrong/should do differently?

More importantly is there a product that I can use to fill in the holes? What can I do to fill the holes in?
