Hi Patusho, In Colorado we call it California Ice Plant, and I always wondered what the botanical name was, so I just looked it up--it's Carpobrotus edulis. Here's a link with more information about it. It is definitely good for hot dry places, though I don't think it can go without any watering at all. When I was commuting to SFO for a few years, I decided I wanted to try some in Denver, so I snipped a few pieces off in a parking lot, brought them home with me, let them dry for a couple days, and stuck them into soil where they rooted beautifully. They're nowhere near hardy enough to grow outside here, and they eventually got too big and awkward for a houseplant, so there gone now, but it was fun to experiment with them. @flowersaremusic z5 Eastern WA i think this one has too many petals to be Bow Bells. I counted about 40 petals and HMF says Bow Bells has 16-25 with mild fragrance. The myster rose has a strong fragrance. the growth habitat of the three stems was straight and ridged. Lots of thorns. It so hard to find information on any Austins which are no longer in commerce. @seasiderooftop Google Lens is so cool! thanks for the introduction. i researched the roses it matched but none seemed to be a fit based on fragrance and petal count. Is Scepte’d Isle out? i thought it was a good guess??

of all the plants one might try to name.. i agree peony is near impossible ... there are about 3 plants that are widely IDable.. and the rest .. well.. pay a grower to sell you one in bloom with a name.. and then never lose the tag or label .. soooo.. its the pink one.. and if you want one just like it.. try to beg a root cutting off the owner of the plant in the picture.. that would be the surefire way to get that plant.. ken

'Appleblossom' is a specific cultivar of rosebud geranium.
