Nice Reference Showing Relationship of Hydrangea Color to pH/Aluminum

Almost everyone understands that Hydrangea becomes bluer as the pH becomes acidic. And many people understand that this has to do with the uptake of aluminum in the soil. But I was surprised to see that in aluminum-deprived soils Hydrangea will remain pink even at an acidic pH. I found three lovely illustrations and used them to construct a single image, attached. The number on the x-axis is of course the pH of the soil.
