So much for working in the garden.

Yesterday stayed up till 5 am watching videoes, so woke up late. Lazed around all day and it had rained some so wasn't going to work outside. Entire day was wasted.

Today I went to bed a couple hours sooner, woke up and put on a sweatshirt because it's so cold here. It was in the high 40s while I moved about 10 carts of gravel from the side yard to the back to get the new garden ready for a new raised bed. Finally got it done, leveled out and cut some limbs off some trees with my little chain saw. By the time I started to put the bed together the wind started blowing a little. Just enough to make it really cold. Since I had to take my gloves off to put the screws in the pieces of the bed, my hands got really cold. I was pretty warm with all that physical stuff, loading the gravel and then hauling it through the yard, but standing around and not being so physical, I got cold fast.

I started putting the raised bed together when my feet started to cramp. I got one side done and decided that was enough. I hate being cold. Hate cramps. Not supposed to be much warmer tomorrow but may be able to get it put together since I'm doing on my covered porch.

I was going to move my tomatoes, eggplants and pepper out in the garden under wall o' waters but will wait for a little warmer day.

Happy Easter for those celebrating! I'm not. Both of my kids are sick. Son tested negative for covid twice but not feeling good. Daughter on her way to urgent care to get tested. Her's sounds more like a sinus infection. I feel bad for the kids who have to hunt Easter eggs in this cold, gloomy weather.
