Update Well i decided to go with the 5 ton blower on the furnace hoping it would help in cooling my 3rd floor space. As far as the heat of my new system, could not be happier. This system is QUIET compared to what i had. Never hear it come on from the first or 2nd floor of house like i used to with the Pulse furnace we had. The house does not get overheated when system comes on, the heat is very evenly moved throughout the house. The old system would just blast max heat and would get so hot in the house. Just started turning the AC on more the last few days and it is also working great. The condensor outside is super quiet, do not even hear it go on; used to be able to hear the old condensor all the time from inside the house. Also the cold air is getting to the 3rd floor and keeping it cool! It also seems i dont have to set the thermostat as low. the house is very comfortable set to 73-74 degrees. Last summer had to keep it on 70 to get comfortable in summer. Have not hit any 90 degree days yet so that may change. But right now, very glad with my decision to go with the AS 95% VS unit i noted in my first post. I also got the 10 year P&L warranty for that piece of mind coverage.

Sweet! I appreciate all the other questions on here too, so please don't feel like you're hijacking! I bought the batting today to wrap around and the spray adhesive. I also intend on getting that electric knife. Chelone, I have another question. I am making a box pillow. I've made a template of the chair with brown paper. Do I cut the fabric to that size plus a 1/2" seam allowance? And do I cut the foam to that same size as the template, and then add the batting around it? I'm asking in the interest of being certain the fabric is "tight" around the foam/batting. Thanks.

I've finally decided to replace my outdoor furniture with Polywood recycled plastic furniture. It's expensive, but have just purchased a couple side tables and they're quite heavy and look nice. No maintenance is what I like and made in the USA...they have many different styles of chairs, tables, etc. for patio/porch/deck... My next purchase will be a round conversation/coffee table...then higher sitting adarondak chairs in different colors....hopefully by next summer, I'll have my deck refurnished with maintenance-free furniture..... I like the above floor-living cushions, but I could not get myself up off the deck without help...way too low for me...but they are cute and colorful.

Yes you can! Outdoor "wicker" is doubtless some form of plastic. Just check the spray paint aisle for paint, such as Rustoleum, that is formulated for use on plastic. As a bonus, you may be able to get rust-stopping properties at the same time. I'd just caution you not to skimp on the prep work, and make sure to follow directions on the can very closely. They tend to be written in microscopic font, so have a magnifier handy.
