Are you willing to hear comments about what you have so far regarding the interior?

Need interior upper floor layouts to be able to see where walls are etc.

Can you rework the mudroom, powder room and kitchen so the kitchen gets more light and more windows and the traffic flow from the mudroom and the powder room doesn't cut through the kitchen? Imagine dinner guests having to get through there in the middle of a dinner party -- I would rework that side of possible.

What does that mean?

Major "wedgie alert" between the two gables. Major redesign needed.

I would make the triple casements into paired 6/1 double-hungs and make the 2nd floor bathroom window an awning window the size of a double-hung upper sash adding some horizontal elements and saving money.

Where the 3 roofs come together is a hot mess and needs to be studied with a 3D model. I would eliminate the clipped gable on the left side. The roof looks like a very late afterthought.

From what I can tell, the massing has some oddities to it. 3D modeling is in order.

The awkward design of the windows should be the least of your concerns. I don't mean to be unkind but to me the origanization and massing of the house looks like a desperate afterthought of an amateur designer working for a builder.

I suggest making a schematic 3D model of the house and finding a new approach.

The window placement on all but the right third of the house looks pretty good. I might switch the top middle windows with 6s, instead of 4s, but it's okay as is. The right third is a mess. You want symmetry. I'd put two pairs of 8s on the first and second floors and 2 pairs of 6s on the third floor.

If you choose to correct all the problems with the floor plan layouts, it will change the windows and change the massing. Your builder should stay away from building design, they are doing more harm than good.

Make sure your photos are formatted as .jpg. I had the same problem and changing to .jpg format solved it.
