Comments (5)The idea that all metal finishes in your house need to match is extremely dated and when it’s done tends to look a little pedestrian. You don’t pick one fabric and insist it be used everywhere, same with flooring and wall colors. A good rule of thumb is if you can touch the two at the same time then maybe they should be the same, but if you can’t then they don’t have to be.
