A bathroom and W/D are all about the plumbing, and as soon as you start moving plumbing you are talking about real money. Were you just thinking about a new vanity and/or flooring?

My first thought was have the door open out instead of in as mentioned above.

Open it out, reverse so it swings into the vanity, or replace with slider.

You could potentially try a pocket door, otherwise maybe try to add a nice piece of artwork behind the toilet. Please notice the pieces of artwork in our designs included here.

Do you have to carry all the dried laundry into another room to fold it or hang items on hangers? That would not work for me. A narrower/smaller vanity might give you a bit more room to maneuver with a basket full of laundry. And please, put the toilet lid down before taking a photo….😜.
