It looks a bit beachy for your furniture. You could use rugs to blend everything together, tho.

Yes, if you like light wood, it can work fine. Do some searches on French and English living rooms for lots of great examples.

The woods you’re looking at will look so much better in real life, than the flat, one-dimensional, one angle mock-ups. The variation in tones will be more pronounced, and glossier. Plus, you’ll have rugs and different lighting depending on the time of day.
