I think the style is nice, but I think you could do better. With the stripey wood and the stripey rug, it's all too similar. With the leggy chairs, I would probably choose a table without such similar legs.

Maybe your clumsy boy would appreciate something softer? Not necessarily these color, but just the idea:

I can’t get a glass one . I have a kid who’s very clumsy.

You need some contrasting of light and maybe even bright. If glass isn't an option why about plexiglas

I think so. but the 2nd one looks like it has a stripey top - it seems to be what you are drawn to! The top one would be nice for a clumsy boy!

The color seems off to me, but the proportion may be OK. Personally, I like leggy chairs to sit entirely on or off the rug. All seating should be within 12-18" of the table unless each seat has its own convenient table within reach.

It’s a clumsy girl lol.. anyway.. it was hard for me to find a upholstered table that’s also long enough. Or I had to go with 2, which is not in my budget . I like few furniture in the room..

The leather one is small for this space or I will have to get two. My
Mom wants a recliner here and that would mostly will be in leather because it will be used a lot. So I am not sure if getting one in a color would work.

And if it’s wood, should I try to match it with the chair color ? Or try totally different like black ?

More details keep being revealed. Maybe a cloth instead of leather top; just considering what might be nice for a clumsy child to live with. Everything is so neutral, not sure you have to 'match' anything. We are all different in our tastes; I would want something with more personality than another something the same as what's there. Maybe a fabric with a print and some color?
An animal print if you don't want color? Maybe that's not your style. That one table with the leather top is not the only size available. Perhaps keep on your search.
