Can anyone identify this Artificial Tree

Hi. I found this picture of an artificial tree on Crate and Barrel's site. They sell the planter, but not the tree. They said it was submitted by a customer. Does anyone know what kind of artificial tree this is? Or how I might figure out what it is?

It doesn’t look fake to me; might be Ficus ’Moclame’.

Could you say where you are located geographically? It looks like something from a hot climate given what looks like a caudiciform stem. Wild guess ...Operculicarya decaryi????

It is a blue spruce, Picea pungens var. glauca. The tree is much too large to move and is very unhealthy as well. Blue spruces (aka Colorado spruces) are prone to a number of very disfiguring diseases if grown outside of a very narrow range of appropriate climate conditions and almost inevitably develop a needlecast that will leave lower branches virtually bare except for a tuft of new growth on the ends. And even that in its second year will begin to develop the affliction and will brown and gradually drop off. Ivy probably didn't help either :-) Virtually nowhere on the east coast offers the growing conditions this tree prefers. I would think seriously about removing it altogether and selecting a more location and site suitable variety.

Thanks everyone. It was in two different pictures on their site, so I was thinking it was artificial. I looked at pictures of a Ficus Moclame and they all seem much more full. Is this one more sparse looking because of the way it was pruned?

Because this is staged and because no plant is best grown in a pot with a narrower opening than the sides, this artificial tree could be a cut branch from a larger plant just for the photo shoot. Think florist with a good design sense.

The growing conditions the plant was in before the photo shoot got that form, more than any light fluffing and pruning to make it camera ready.

Because of all that, I would recommend going to a craft store like Micaels and looking at all the artificial greenery if you want to recreate this look. The fake stuff is pretty good these days and there are a lot of choices. Cataracts help.
