Dream, Licorice and Andy were new purchases for me this season so I can't comment on their performance yet either. But as you can see, I definitely have a "sweet tooth"! Comments (2)Christie, I had my fence rows cleaned last fall and need to spray to keep the hedges and underbrush from growing back. Local co-op recommended a product by the name of PastureGard (Dow Chemical product). I do not need an applicator license to use it and was told that it should do the job that I want. I have not applied it as of this day because I am waiting on some of the stumps to sprout additional leaves. Should be ready in 2 or 3 weeks. Can't tell you how effective it will be but the information I found on-line on PastureGard appears favorable. It is in no way cheap as 1 gallon cost me $52.00. The mixing ratio is shown on the container. Down here all chemicals recently took a huge jump. Gas keeps on getting closer to the $4.00 mark. It just went up today to 3.67 gallon most name brands. Been reading about all the severe weather in your parts. Hope things settle down soon....See MoreDo any of you use an electric roasting pan?
Comments (10)I will tell you how I do mine and it is always a nice browned juicy beautiful turkey. I rub a light coating of French's yellow mustard all over the bird and inside the cavity, then sprinkle on a generous amount of Worcestershire sauce over the breast, then I sprinkle with a nice dusting of Tonys seasoning, then I spray very lightly olive oil spray over it. That combination will always make a beautiful bird and the flavor is amazing. You will not taste the mustard but it really enhances the flavor. Now I don't slather it on just use my bbq brush and paint it on. Another thing that makes it even browner is to add a little kitchen bouquet to the mustard. I have used the brown in bags in the roaster but it tends to make it really fall apart and you just can't get it out complete. It is good and juicy and very tender, and if you don't mind if it comes apart then you can use them. They end up stuck to the bottom of the bag. I have never had anyone even know it was cooked in the roaster unless I told them. You can always take it out and stick it in the oven under the broiler for about two minutes to get it crispy but don't burn it!...See MoreExpanding on Electric Toothbrush Discussion
Comments (2)I have used both for several years, Oral B in the morning after breakfast, and Sonicare in the evening after dinner. I also use a Water-Pik every other day with a shot of mouthwash added to the fresh water in the tank. As has been said by others, the smaller brush head of the Oral B allows me to get to the insides of the (lower and upper) front teeth, and the Sonicare helps stimulate my gums and loosen some of the plaque. The Water-Pik does a great job cleaning between the teeth and just below the gum line. Rolls of floss live in my bath, my powder room, and in the door pocket of my car, so that I can floss anytime between brushings. This routine results in excellent home hygiene reviews at the dentist, which allows me to go about one-third longer (than before) between cleanings, and that's been a bonus during the pandemic....See More- 4 years ago
