Expansion tank leaking. Where can the leak be?

Hello, so today I discovered a puddle of water right under the expansion tank for my hot water heater. I was looking at the pipes connected to it, but they all look and feel dry. I would hope that I can stop the leak or stall it until save money to have a plumber look at it.I bought the house not too long ago and the water heater system looks relatively new. I read online that an expansion tank lasts 5-10 years.Other than the puddle, what I see is that water beads are collecting at the bottom of the tank. Can someone let me know if its advisable to tape(leak specific) or put a leak seal around the piping going to and from the expansion tank in the meantime?
