First do not do the herringbone in the niche in fact don’t do the niche at all IMO they get skuzzy , there is no reason to want to highlight a bunch of shampoo bottles and if you are going to have a leak this is one of the weak spots in a shower. If you must do it then that herringbone needs to be somehwere else in the bathroom. As for wall color I like watery colors in bathrooms. Like these types of color. I really like the Harbour Haze .

Okay...it was unclear...both rooms are this color?...so you are changing both ?....but are doing the bath first?....i always suggest you look at HOUZZ photos...type in “light blue coastal baths with stone “ or your description of what you want...to get ideas to start...

Hi. We are searching tile for 3 baths. The house has all wood flooring except for baths in Nashville.TN area. Baths are 5x10, 5x8 and 20x4(master) Here are the floor, cabinet colors. Can you suggest tub/shower wall tile color?

Or you could just go up the color strip to a lighter shade. I used Tradewind in one of our bathrooms. It’s one shade lighter than Rain on the color strip, it’s still fairly heavy on the walls though. Topsoil, or the lightest shade on the strip will offer more contrast.
