I'd rather have teeth pulled without a pain shot than paint a redwood deck. Paint on decks tend to make them very slick when wet so I would suggest adding some polymer beads mixed into the paint. You'd have to roller it on tho as it won't go thru a sprayer. The one time I did paint a redwood deck I used a latex primer slightly watered down so it would absorb into the wood good. Then I used an industrial enamel for the top coat. It was a grey color & showed up every little stain/dirt real bad. I would suggest using Ken's RAD products to clean up the deck & brightner to bring back the original color then apply a quality stain. I would paint the closet doors the same color as your walls so that your front door is more noticeable. Agree on a rug and softer window treatments in colors that coordinate with whatever is through the open arch. Counting your tiles, it looks like the space is 6.5' wide and 8-9' long? I use a basket, with a lid, in my vestibule to stow away my shoes. If you could find either an upholstered storage bench that fits below your console, or a basket that fits beneath your console, would that be large enough for shoes? Rather than several small items on the pass-through shelf, if you could find a larger, narrow statement piece to fill the space without blocking the view, I think that would be nice. Preferably, something that also relates to the space on the other side. Is it possible for you to post a photo of the view as one enters the front door? We're looking at the entry from the inside of the house, but what about "first impressions" coming through the front door?

I havent asked for advice on whether or not my kitchen cabinets match my flooring. I didnt select them this is the house we moved into and as a “pro”, you must know everyone has a budget they work with and priorities and I’ve only asked which rugs of the ones I selected are good choices not for you to change the look, color and style that I’m going for.

So for the back door, get a bench fir the right side, this will give you a space to put your most commonly used/snowy/wet/muddy shoes and a place to put them on. It also will give that area more symmetrical. Second, I dont have measurements but it looks like there's a lot of extra space in the kitchen. You can add an island make from stock/found cabinets (try nextdoor app) and use butcher block or just a 1.5 inch thick top. You can extend the top out 1/3 the distance of the cabinets depth. This will give you a place for a few bar stools. Lastly, I'd move the table back towards the wall that's seen in the 2nd photo. The dresser can go on the wall opposite the cabinet to store anything you need if there isn't room to keep it where it is. If you have measurements, it would help to make sure there's enough room and extact placement but I think it might work.
