Bosch makes ones that 33 1/4 " high so not sure what the issue is check out AJ Madison it is IMO the easiest way to get sizes and all in one site

Thank you, I'll look at AJ Madison. I should have been more clear. I need more than a compact washer, at least 4 cu ft capacity. It's what I have now, but it seems the industry has changed the standard height.

There were dozens of topload washers and front load dryers to match with 35-36" heights when I visited an appliance store last week in the Los Angeles area. They were full size, not compact. A half dozen models were in stock and ready for delivery, including two made in the USA.

Thank you. That's very interesting. Do you recall any front-load brands or models that you are referring to? I can't find any online. What appliance store did you visit?

@erhoff2000, Sorry, those 35-35" high machines were only toploading washing machines and the matching dryers. The appliance store is Howards (several branches in Los Angeles area). Since you want front loaders, check their website online. It indicates what is in stock and what is on the floor in your local store.

The bad news is that there currently aren't any full size FL washer models in the North American market that fit under standard height counters any more.
