Simonton would consider the ProFinish Brickmold 600 as their best window that is marketed for new construction. It is nicer looking than the ProFinish Contractor but there is no advantage in terms of performance. The ProFinish Master is the same window as the Contractor but all of the catalog sizes are DP50 for coastal applications. Although not marketed by Simonton as a new construction window the Reflections 5500 is available with an integral nail fin for new construction and would be better than any of the ProFinish windows. The AI numbers on the 5500 are better than the ProFinish line but it's not at the performance level of the likes of Okna. Simonton produces a good window and wouldn't be a bad choice.

I am pretty happy with the look and feel of the Aluminum Clad windows. The Integrity was bad for 2 major reasons. 1. They were unable to come close in many of the windows sizes (these windows are pretty tall, some are about 7'6") 2. The "tract" where the window moves up and down is tan or white only. I want a black on black window, the tan tract on the inside of the window is extremely unappealing. The Kolbe is able to do the black aluminum with the black painted wood interior. This house is a contemporary rancher and the exterior will be white board and batten hardiboard (cement block construction) with a dark grey metal roof. All the windows and doors must be impact for code in my area. The house will eventually see for about $800,000 (so I cannot spend a million dollars on windows) and the windows should be great quality, but not best quality. I also have 8 sets of french doors. Spending $100,000 on windows and doors does not make me feel great.

So, your double pane U-Factor appears to be a 0.27. Good, but what about that "will add thermal performance that far exceeds the vinyl options". I am quoting you directly from above about 6 posts ago. There are more than a handful of vinyl windows that will best that thermal performance in the case of double pane and more than a handful that equal or best the thermal performance numbers that you show in triple pane. To be certain, 0.15 is a good U-Factor, but it is only equivalent in this case to just the handful of vinyl windows that I know of personally not to mention the more exotics that are designed solely around performance. I do love nice wood windows, but to claim they are more efficient because of the wood is sketchy science to put it mildly.

Post up a picture. Its likely a design error in the mechanism of how the operable sections interface with the frame. We call those drafts "chimney" drafts when they go up the balance/jamb slots. Lets see a picture of the window and with it tilted in. You can likely install some foam blockers in the channels to help with the drafts.
