Comments (10)I was assuming that we'd have a lot fewer "new" roses this year, esp. from David Austin, given all the pandemic trouble both in England and in Texas (not to mention the flooding). I agree that the newest DAs are lovely -- though my Gabriel Oak and Eustacia Vye were so tiny compared with previous DA purchases. They looked about the size of a one-gallon from Heirloom. And the blooms on both of them have been tiny so far. But my James L. Austin? What a winner! If only he were more fragrant, he'd be perfect. Comments (118)Jeanne. Thanks so much for hosting especially with your busy schedule. I enjoyed participating. No worries about prizes here either. I did find out about the mug. It came from my coworker. I volunteered to work extra hours for two weeks on a special project that was usually done by our team lead but she was out with Covid and the other person that assisted had retired. So we took the lead to get it done and she sent me the mug out of gratitude for my help. She is the nicest person. I am fortunate to be part of a great team. It’s like working with family where I work and it was such a sweet and unanticipated gesture. She said she had wanted to send me flowers but with the prices and added delivery it would have been too costly. So she opted for the mug with flowers instead. Comments (96)Margo nothing like those Grandbabies. I have one just 3 weeks old, she is so precious. My oldest is 32 and now this one 3 wks old. 2 Grandsons, 2 Great Grandsons and 2 Granddaughters. Life is good. My pkg should arrive tomorrow, the PO said two days. Sorry so late but I've been potting bulbs for market and all my orders were received at the same time. So many new plants in the catalogs but I promised myself no more plants to plant in the ground. Getting old and can't take care of all of them. Comments (487)There are adjustment hinges, but I think they are adjusted as much as can be. I will have the KD take a look. I need her to adjust a couple of cabinets and drawer, as well. If not adjustable, the only way I can think to fix it is to order a couple of pieces of matching stained trim to attach to the inside of one door. Thanks, Ash M!...See More
