Well, the DIY seminar on waterfall building was mainly a dudd. But I did pick up a few ideas about the sound of the waterfall. Apparently, concave backdrops make the sound project (because it doesn't have anywhere else to go). Also, the sound of the waterfall is a deeper pitch when it falls into deeper water. OK, well the final drop into the pool is deep already, I'll just have to apply that to the intermediate drops as well. I'm working on a revised drawing of the waterfall (This waterfall going to be a project in itself! But it will be fun.) I'll post the design pic in a little while. I'm ordering the pool kit today. The clearers/diggers will be here in the next few days. I hope that I have this right!! -Renee

I have Blonde in my dining room and in comparison, the color above looks a bit more clearer, but colors on computer monitors vary. I actually like the yellow above better than Blonde. It seems "sunnier". White Raisin and Blonde are VERY close, but White Raisin is a little less "grayed". I'm not as familiar with BM Straw or Behr Warm Muffin, but they're probably pretty close to Blonde or White Raisin. Thanks for the input.

I have looked at all my paint decks and based on what I can see only with my eyes on a monitor, I can only "point" you in a direction and then you would have to test in your specific light to figure out what would be best. The photo you posted has wide variations of shadows and lighting impacts, so what I "perceive" is a rather perfect blend of blue and green to create this color with lighting being most critical factor. Here is my best "guess" governed by my Color Strategist training. Behr Paint Deck came closest to having colors that straddle the fine line between blue and green to create this look. If you have lighting similar to this (a window with natural light and who knows what other lighting was used for this photo) I suspect Nile River is very close. In dimmer lighting, the Garden Twilight might create the same "feeling". I would start here if you are trying to duplicate this look. The Hue Angle for Nile River is 183.7 which puts this color in the Green/warm segment of the Color Strategist wheel. The Hue Angle for the Garden Twilight is 202.7 which puts it in the Blue/Green cool segment of the wheel. Hope this gives you a "starting" point.
