Who is unhappy with their LVP flooring?
Comments (39)Hello all...remodeling our kitchen in the SF Bay area. We've lived in our home for 24 years and plan to stay put (hopefully) for the next 20 years and looking for a timeless traditional/transitional style that is functional. I do like the look of hardwood floors which we currently have but we've had unfortunate experiences of dishwasher and washer flooding and ruining the hardwood floors. For this reason, DH does not want wood floors again. I've been doing research on floors and now leaning toward the LVP. I've read through this thread and others and it's overwhelming. This thread was current in the last year and wondering if those who reported positive experiences with LVP are still happy with their choice. Thanks in advance for your wisdom....See MoreProvenza floor LVP-- HELP!
Comments (7)i have samples right now in my house of finally mine, first crush, and at ease. At ease is definitely the most "warm," but it seems to have a pink undertone to me (it also has less crosshatching texture on it). Both First Crush and Finally Mine are more neutral, almost grayish--but both have warm undertones as well. I think they pull warm if they are next to more warm colors/cabinets, etc, and can also go a little cool if you have them near cooler toned furniture, etc. The main difference between Finally Mine and First Crush is that Finally Mine is the same exact pattern/texture, just a shade darker. The brown streaks/spots are a little more prominent. The painted bevel is a hair more tan on Finally Mine, and a hair more grayish on First Crush....See MoreIs this LVP flooring installed correctly? Comments (4)In the first photo, the rear of the room looks like it uses several short pieces instead of longer ones. In the photo with the island and stove there appears to be a narrow “square” stripe pattern right in front of the stove - this is also identifiable in the other photos in front of the windows. I’m sorry, I should have marked up the photos to point out what I am seeing but wanted to get another persons unbiased eye to see them....See MoreHelp! Stained Cortec LVP flooring
Comments (8)So you've only tried all those cleaners in the closet as a test to see what would work? Then to me, it seems you have not voided the warranty, if you didn't use all that stuff in the main areas. I'd contact the builder. Do you think the foot prints are from the workers or your family, like were there there the moment you moved in?...See MoreKristin Windhorst
