Edges of engineered white oak yellow after staining

The flooring professional just finished some newly installed engineered white oak in my new place. They used a white stain together with what I believe to be Bona Mega, I saw it on site. The staining looked good and gave the wood that nice ash color. However it appears the lacquer made the edges of each plank yellow afterwards giving it a very bad look. Almost like as if glue has bled from the joints.







It's not apparent on this photo but when viewed in person, many of the planks have this yellow gradient from the outside going inward
