White next to cream is a classic look and will be fine. However, if you don't like it, just take a cabinet door and have them color match it for your trim.

How would SW Nuance look with Alabaster? It works. Mostly because they have the same amount of chroma. Which means neither will make the other look dingy/dirty. They are about the same in hue family, so hue family doesn't really play much of a part in this color relationship. Where they contrast is in terms of Value, lightness, LRV. Nuance is darker. That bump of contrast and the fact that they have the same chroma is what makes them work together. If you look at their data values, you can see what I'm talking about. You don't have to understand what all the numbers mean to make these simple comparisons highlighted in yellow. Essentially, this is the same as using the same color on walls and trim. Except Nuance is darker and you're getting a level of lightness contrast that you would not get if you used Alabaster on the walls in a different finish. Of course, using the same color in different gloss levels is always a good strategy too.

I'm biased because I just finished painting my kitchen and hall this color but ... Eider white? It is a little warmer but also so pale you almost think it's white until you see it against white trim and ceiling. It does not read as beige or yellow at all to me. As to the cabinet color ... it all depends on your budget and if you like any of the woods that are available. I chose a stained wood because I like wood grain and wanted something super durable against dings and dents. Maybe see if they have any wood cabinets that are not overly red or warm, it looks like you really like gray so I'm guessing you like cool colors?

There's no rule really dictating what you do. You can match your ceiling to your crown as we have done in several rooms now. In our case both ceiling and trim are SW Ivory Lace (which is similar but I believe even darker than Creamy) which really warms up the room and looks good with the generally darker wall and wood finishes in our house. The semigloss on the trim and the flat on the ceiling ensures that they don't completely blend in. On the other hand you can absolutely do a different ceiling color. But if you do I would test out how both look in your space to make sure they are compatible. Before we repainted much of the trim in the house was even more cream (similar to SW Antique White). The ceilings were all closer to a Pure White. The result is that the trim ended up looking yellow. So if you switch to another white, make sure it is still sufficiently on the warm side of the spectrum. Or a third option, as in cpartist's house, try a color. If you aren't feeling that bold it doesn't have to be that dark. It could be the same hue as your wall color, but a shade or two lighter, as long as it is still a shade darker than your trim. Cabinets can absolutely be their own thing separate from the trim or ceiling. But if all are white again refer to my second point about ensuring that they are compatible.
