BM told me that this paint is their lowest quality premium paint line (Ben). So it's not poor quality paint (SW said theirs was junk not to be used to paint walls.) I've heard some people take them to school theater groups. A crafter might be able to use them too. You can make them into chalk paint or use for decorative objects. If some of the colors are similar, you can mix them all together to paint something larger like a closet.

"We're doing glass panels for backsplash" Do you mean that your bs is clear, and so you are wondering what color to paint the wall behind the clear glass? Or do your bs panels have color as well? If you have inspiration images, pull them out, and take a look. I would keep the bs as bright (especially if your space is small or has few windows) and quiet as possible so that the onlooker can be happily mesmerized by your quartz with no distractions. White would be fine, as would any number of light greys. The paint color can match your bs color exactly as well. By the way, I see that ceiling curve. No problem. The ceiling and curve can be white, and the wall another color. In fact, if you choose a color for the walls, your ceiling color can be a 50% saturation of the same hue. You can read the recommendations from Iowa State University Extension Service for Sidewalks and Trees which bases the distance trees should be planted near pavement on the mature height of the tree. Their recommendations are: 1. trees with a mature height of less than 30 feet, 3-4 feet from pavement, 2. trees with a mature height of 30 to 50 feet, 5-6 feet from pavement, 3. trees with a mature height of greater than 50 feet, at least 8 feet from pavement. You could consider installing some sort of root barrier between the tree and the wall. Here is more information about root barriers. All that said, here are some trees that are recognized as having tap roots. All of these would be considered medium-sized or small trees with a maximum height of less than 50 feet. Fraxinus texensis (Texas ash) has a rapid growth rate and is long-lived, 30 to 45 feet. It also has beautiful fall foliage. Here is more information.
