I cleared all my cookies and cache yesterday because of problems I was having accessing a site and I feared that what happened to you would happen to me, too. Luckily it didn't erase most of the autofill passwords, except for Next Door, and ND wouldn't recognize my username or email. So I had to rejoin, but it wouldn't let me use my (throwaway) email address because "it's already in use." No wonder there is so much rage in the world, lol!

Nothing more than cache clearing of browsers and disk cleanup triggered by some security programs or by the operating system should ever be needed on a PC. The disk cleanup thing is something on my PCs done by Norton. I trust it to have a light touch and have never had a problem.

Too many utilities lead to undesired consequences and provide little utility. Best not used.

Keeping track of all passwords can be annoying but it is necessary.

My passwords go back many many years many years. And a lot of them no longer work. I usually clear browser cache in Firefox under "History" and have never had a problem. I have learned my lesson.

Never use Houzz on my phone. I can barely text a two word phrase.

Ok, you're right, I'll change it. I was just so peeved at the time, it was a dirty word to me. Still peeved today, just less so.

Call it Houzzzz when you want to indicate that someone's been asleep on the job. That's most of the time as the same problems keep occurring.

My spell check insists it's spelled Hoazz. I'm tired of fighting with it over a word which doesn't even exist. Stupid name anyway. :)

I had issues getting in on Sunday....closed it and checked back Monday and whatever their issue was, it was cleared up.

LOL. I have worked in IT for 40+ years. There is no way I, or any of my colleagues, would be able to remember all the passwords that we have to use. Write them down and keep them in a safe place, or keep them in a document online, that is password protected.

FWIW, CCleaner only does what you ask it to do. But most folks really don't need this utility these days as long as they do regular updates on their devices, and use a malware detector or something like Norton.
