Windows for sound insulation. Casement vs double hang

Hi everyone,

Where I live, 10 to 12 miles from JFK airport, there's an issue with noise from airplanes flying above.

So I'm looking to replace my vinyl double hang windows for something that reduces the amount of dB into my home as much as possible.

I'm thinking on going with Andersen 400 series, wood, with tempered glass or their soundproofing option.

However, I don't know what it would be best for soundproofing: Casement? Double hang? Single hang?...

So far, my research online says that Casement windows don't last as long as double hang because of the mechanism.

Anyone with experience in soundproofing that can chime in?

Oh! And if anyone knows an installer with experience in soundproofing on Long Island, NY, please let me know.

Thank you!
