Can you do a think long console table. Add a lamp on one side…kind of like this example?

I like Erica’s suggestion above. The bench you have now is too small.

I looked at the additonal pictures you showed with your earlier post & agree this space by front door looks better without the shelving unit that was there. What I don’t see is any art on the walls. The space is very open & lots of windows for great light. The mirror in that spot doesn’t seem to reflect much of anything. I would hang a larger art over a long console table. It would create interest by the front door & add some color & warmth to the room. As is, the only thing on the few walls that exist in this wide open space is the big TV.

Not sure why you would have a bench and then put stuff on it to make it useless. Move the bench about 6" towards the door and hang the mirror above it. Remove the pillows. You're renting and you don't need to buy new pieces, work with what you have. Move the small end table and put a large floor lamp there to visually fill the space. Less is more
