I'm rather new to Phals, but I do know that producing a keiki is a lot of hard work for the mother plant. Since you can't be sure of conditions a new Orchid, esp a Big Box Store bought one was grown in or how long it was "on the shelf", I would assume the plant is stressed and not induce keikis this year. I would cut the spent flower spike and fertilize at the first sign of new growth.

If you fed, you're fine. Overall, feed around Memorial Day, Labor Day, October 1, and whenever growth stops for the season (that's a tough call, so just get close--for me in eastern PA, it's usually Thanksgiving, give or take two weeks or so, and I almost always miss by a week). We don't generally like Weed and Feed because it's an OK feed but lousy at the weed part. Get a good weed killer, like Weed B Gon in a spray bottle, and spot-spray weeds as they arise (you can use a hose-end and Weed B Gon in the concentrate if you should have a serious and widespread problem in the future, and there are specialty herbicides for specialty problems as well, but WBG will take care of most general problems like dandelions and the like). That'll minimize the herbicide you use, which is great for your soil, your grass, and your pocketbook, and maximize the effects. That's actually 95% of the battle! Watering is somewhat optional. It's now established, so you can water once weekly, deeply (Toronto weather not being typically that hot) if it doesn't rain. Target about a full inch of water, if you can. But don't be afraid to modify that if it doesn't work for you--extremely hot, unusual weather may require watering more often, and of course, cooler spring/summer weather will require watering far less often. I don't water, but have bluegrass. It'll go dormant in dry weather and recover just fine whenever rains resume. If it's particularly dry for very long periods, I'll water it a little bit every 4 weeks to keep the roots alive, but that's it (the weather usually does that for me anyway). Fescues can be treated similarly, but should be watered every 2-3 weeks or so at least a bit to keep them alive and healthy; they don't go dormant so easily. The exacting homeowner will get their soil tested, balance it for the grasses, and maintain a healthy soil biology to nurture the grasses. For some of us, this can be a major hobby...

I like the light in your space. I would move all your wall decor to the people level (57 to 60 inches) and ignore the alcoves. Move the clock and the candlesticks and lower the sign. Add some art at the people level on the left wall. If the people level is fully decorated, high ceilings and walls look light and airy, not bare. Can you paint your tv stand or replace it with something that has a lighter style, like a console table? Right now the tv and the heavy dark stand grab all the attention in the room and look like a black hole.

I like the Emtek better and I would do the bars on the top. I think knobs are a bit outdated.
