Henningsen bronze, artichoke pendant, med size, dining room fixture

I'm looking to see how much lighting will be provided when using the medium sized artichoke light in my dining room. One 40w bulb isn't that much for over my dining room table and room. Also, the silver and white artichoke look a little different in the pictures than the bronze one. Are you able to help?

You get more light for the same wattage with an LED lamp. If you need more light, use an LED.

But that fixture isn't really designed to illuminate a whole room. The leaves are arranged to primarily direct light downward. Could be nice atmospheric mood lighting, but you'd need to supplement with buffet lamps (if you have an open floor plan, light from adjacent spaced would help).

As far as the different colors looking different, I suspect that someone used an image of a small or large size when they should have used an image of a medium fixture.
