Comments (6)Yes, Sherry, That is it!!! I am amazed by how much activity this plant sees! Mostly small bees and a few of the smaller butterflies. I've tried rooting cuttings in water for our new garden, but no-go. I'll have to use rooting hormone and perlite, maybe... I've been unable to find any seeds, even with all the flower pollinators!!! Thank for your help, Myke...See MoreI.D. Please, Florida Native plant
Comments (4)I've sent the picture to a bunch of plant experts. Do you have the nursery name where you purchased it? Perhaps the owner would know more than the clerk. Where in Florida, if I may ask. The people to whom I've sent the photos are well known experts and curators at arboreta. Some work in Florida....See MoreNative vine ID Please
Comments (22)Yes, it's Matelea reticulata. I've got those! Didn't even know people wanted it. One year, when we had lots of rain for quite a while (deja vu!), the vines really took off and some grew up very high in the trees. When the seed pods finally started opening, tons of the seeds and milkweed pod silky stuff came floating down all over the place...it was quite surreal, I swear! I'd be walking around and they were all just drifting around in the breeze! But normally they don't grow that much....See Morethefof Zone 8/9 UK
