Furniture Design Dilemma

DreamSofa.com - anyone order from them? Need custom sectional.

We are starting the remodel of our house and need a new sectional sofa for our family room, and it appears a custom made one would work best. Has anyone used DreamSofa.com? If so, I would welcome comments as to quality, service, timeliness, etc. We will also get a quote from Monarch. Any other suggestions?

I hate sectionals so IMO no good ones. Honestly the most expensive way to get the least number of comfy seats. Why not look at sofa 2 chairs instead . That opens up all sorts of choices

Thank you for your comments, but I am not writing to ask for design advice. I am simply trying to find out if anyone else has used Dreamsofa.com and what their experience was like.

As far as Furniture Ordering Direct I am never heard of them. As far as Hancock and Moore there is a lot of information online about this company and that they are a top quality product although one of the most expensive. If you have considered this company you must have some knowledge of them so I wonder why you would ask this question. As far as bad reviews. Keep in mind that a retailer can have 100 happy customers and 2 unhappy customers and the unhappy customers are often the ones that will post negative reviews. Also keep in mind that with social media in general anyone can say anything about anyone and in doing so they may have other motives about writing a poor review. As far as Hancock and Moore they are a well established company and not everyone can become a retailer for them. If they have selected a retailer to represent them they are worthy of consideration. Contact the retailers that you might consider and make a judgement for yourself if you feel comfortable working with that company.

Almost $ 200 for a four foot long piece of stair nosing! I offer 3 1/2" or 5 1/2" at $80 and $ 120 respectively (White Oak and Walnut add $ 20.00) Eight feet long with options going up to 12 and sometimes 14 foot long. I've been on the web since 2002 and seen many of these companies that compete against each other with the same manufacturers on low price flooring disappear. I suppose they try to make it up with excessive molding prices. "the owner gets a mass order from some other country maybe China" If you reside near the major sea ports on the west coast, it's all over the place. There are an enormous number of so called 'brands' that are identical but with different names.

Mtnrdredux, I'm expecting shipment of that rug (though the runner, in the brown/green combo) from Overstock today. Looks like O.co's prices are better than Wayfair's for this particular line of rugs (called "Chrono" on O) though O is out of many sizes right now. When I first started looking they had several sizes in the gray. I almost ordered the gray/cream runner but knew it would be a stupid choice in our front hallway due to its pale color. Of course O's shipping is always a steal.

Just got our new Cannes sofa and chair from DreamSofa,com and its been a Dream come true! We're in the middle of a home remodel, so you can imagine how much we needed a win right now. The PLUSH comfort level we picked is just heavenly, especially for my husband and me who've got our fair share of back aches. We customized to 3 seat and 3 back cushions on the sofa as the boys like to have their own little spot. I'm personally a huge fan of the fabric, its not only beautiful but also pet-friendly. Our fur babies love it as much as we do. Delivery was smooth, even with all the chaos from the remodel. The guys set everything up where we wanted, no fuss at all. In short, our new sofa and chair are making this remodel bearable. Can't wait to see how they'll look when the house is finally done.

So, let me tell you about my experience with the legendary Chester sectional. When I clicked "order" on their website, I had no idea I was embarking on a magical journey to furniture nirvana.

First off, the customization options were more diverse than a pack of Skittles, and you know how I feel about Skittles - taste the rainbow! 🌈 I felt like a kid in a candy store, or better yet, an interior designer on a caffeine high. The fabrics, the colors, the patterns! Oh my! 😍

When the delivery truck arrived, I swear I heard a choir of angels singing (or maybe it was just the delivery guy humming). As they brought in my Chester sectional, I was amazed by the sheer beauty of it. It was like my dreams had leaped off the screen and into my living room.

Now, let's talk comfort. If clouds were sofas, they'd be the a Chester! ☁️ I took a seat and suddenly found myself floating on a marshmallow-y cloud of pure bliss. No joke, my cat Misty and I have been playing musical chairs on this bad boy ever since it arrived. 🐱

The craftsmanship? Top-notch! I've sat, jumped, and even practiced my amateur gymnastics routine on this beauty (don't worry, I'm not that heavy) and it's still standing strong. The seams are stitched tighter than my favorite pair of skinny jeans, and the fabric is smoother than a baby seal. 🌊

And can we talk about the customer service? Dreamsofa.com's team was more helpful than a superhero team-up, and let me tell you, I was NOT an easy customer! They answered my million questions, guided me through the process, and were sweeter than a caramel macchiato. ☕

In conclusion, if you're on the fence about ordering from Dreamsofa.com, I say, "Dive in, the upholstery is fine!" They turned my living room into a wonderland of comfort, style, and joy. If sofas could make you laugh, the Chester would be a stand-up comedian! 🎙️😂

They advertise ”Free Nationwide Shipping” all over their website and yet white glove (standard for large size furniture) is actually $149 — a reasonable fee, but the conflicting info makes me pause. Add to it the many photoshopped images, and I’m about ready to move on—despite the seemingly good prices. Maybe I’ve become too cynical after shopping and researching sofas for all these months.
